From Dust to Jewels.

We started making jewelry in 2008. 

It really is a lot of fun to make and even more fun to see how the pieces evolve and finish.

Our pendants are really the most fun to make. We have received many comments wondering what kind of stone they are, or bone. Which we really like to hear since we are trying to honor nature in our pendants.

In our flat pendants we often glaze each side a different color so you have 2 necklaces in one, really. (Except for our Oregon pendants, which are moss green with blacktop on the sides).

We make a variety of earring styles. Mostly, we make color glazed long earrings with the tops dipped in blacktop. We also make post earrings and we also make plugs.

We don't make very many bracelets and every time we do make a few they are snatched up super fast at the market. They are just simply lovely and often the beads are glazed a different color on each side so you have many options with these. We make square and circle beads for our bracelets, color glazed with blacktop on the sides of each bead.

We used old woodcuts and various tools to imprint designs into some of our pieces. Vague designs which we either just glaze over so they are very subtle underneath or take a more drastic approach covering the imprints with our blacktop glaze and sanding off the glaze so the design shows nicely.

Our jewelry is just a release for us, it is a joy to make and we are still creating new designs and fine tuning our existing ones. We like the variety and the amount of very unique pieces we end up with.
