Rick and Amy Bain make one of a kind, handmade, highfired (cone 10) porcelain art and jewelry.
We sell our wares at our local weekend market and online here. We also sell to many wonderful galleries all over these vast and beautiful United States of America. This means we may be in a gallery/store near you, please feel free to inquire and support your local businesses!
On this site you can see what it is we make and you can also order our pieces online. Our Pottery page shows each style and color we offer. Occasionally, we have one of a kinds on that we offer and take down once they have sold (usually this is just pieces we really love but don't make very often, when we find time to make a few they will show up on this site and at our local market). Our Jewelry page is a photo gallery of our current work. We are in the process of setting up an Etsy store for our jewels.

The kids are starting school and so are we. Rick will be a full time student this Fall and I will be on my own in the shop. We are scaling down yet again. In fact Rick and I are taking this fall to decide what we want to do with Hello Moon. Until then we will still be in production, mainly for our local weekend market, however if you are a wholesaler we will still be making enough volume for orders with mainly small pots. We are not making as many larger pots and so there will most likely be a wait for them. (The #1's and #2's especially).
Love and Learning,
Rick and Amy Bain.

It's finally happening! We have been working on new designs for our style#2 lid ornaments and have chosen 3 out of the 4 we will be adding. There are no pictures to post yet but there will be soon (of the drawings) but I can tell you what the lids are: a butterfly, some poppies, a mountain, and the 4th design will either be lovebirds in cherry blossoms, or a handsome peacock (tail feathers down) perched on an urn with the sky behind him...we are undecided and we most likely will hold a week long vote here on our site to decide which sort of bird will win the 4th spot.
(Our older styles will still be available with the new ones. We are just expanding the options and adding some refreshing newness to the line.)
Happiness and good coffee,
Rick and Amy Bain

We have switched to an easier to use website that we think is more attractive, too! We are much happier and now we are even able to keep current on here. We can change pictures easier, communicate better, it's all just so lovely we can barely stand it!
If you want to tell us what you think, please send us your thoughts through our contact us page. We'd love to hear any feedback and/or suggestions on our improved site.
Cheers and fireworks,
Rick and Amy Bain.
